Sensys obtains aftermarket order worth SEK 10 million

2009-06-12
SENSYS® Traffic AB (publ) has received an order for upgrades to the Swedish ATC system for a value of approximately SEK 10 million.

The order covers the upgrading of the entire Swedish ATC system with 977 speed-monitoring systems. The upgrade will be carried out in 2009. As previously announced, Sensys obtained a similar upgrade order from Dubai in May worth SEK 6 million, which was later increased to SEK 7.5 million.

"This is our second relatively large aftermarket order within a short period of time. We thus begin to see the results of our efforts in harnessing the potential offered by our established base, and together with our partners in the local markets adds further value to our existing customers," says Johan Frilund, CEO of Sensys Traffic AB.

The upgrade, which is being performed in cooperation with Sensys' Swedish partner, Unitraffic, includes hardware and software in the Swedish ATC system for improved and expanded functionality.

SENSYS® Traffic AB develops, produces and markets various products for traffic informatics and traffic safety, including systems for speed and red-light enforcement. The Sensys share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Small Cap.
