SENSYS Traffic AB (publ) has received a breakthrough order worth SEK 1 million from a new European market for traffic safety systems.
The market is new for Sensys, and this is the first order placed in the country where regional procurements have been initiated. For competition reasons, Sensys will not name the country, but can say that it belongs to a group of countries in Europe with a high rate of road deaths, and that has declared their intention to take vigorous action to improve road safety.
"This is the first order placed by a region in the country. The region is planning to order more systems, and we are also holding discussions with other regions within the country. The good reputations of Sweden and Sensys as a Swedish company within the traffic safety sector have been of significance for the contract," says Johan Frilund, CEO of Sensys Traffic.
Sensys expects to deliver the order in the fourth quarter.
