SENSYS Traffic AB (publ) has received an order from Dubai for speed-monitoring systems with a value of approximately SEK 5 million.
The order covers systems for both speed and red-light enforcement, with delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009 and first quarter of 2010.
Sensys currently has more than 450 systems for speed and red-light surveillance installed in Dubai and, as announced in an earlier press release, received this summer an order for upgrading and spare parts for a value of SEK 8 million. This order is an addition to the systems that Sensys delivered to Dubai in 2008.
"We continue to develop our business in Dubai and this order consolidates our strong position in the region despite the tough competition prevailing in the Middle East," says Johan Frilund, CEO of Sensys Traffic AB.
SENSYS® Traffic AB develops, produces and markets various products for traffic informatics and traffic safety, including systems for speed and red-light enforcement. The Sensys share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Small Cap.
