Speed zone enforcement - Properties

This is how it works

 

1 A vehicle enters the area covered by the radar.
2 If the vehicle approaches at a higher speed than that permitted, the system will become activated.
3 The system will then activate its audible alarm to warn the pedestrian that a vehicle is approaching.
4 At the same time a visible alarm will be activated to notify the driver of the vehicle.
5 If the vehicle then slows down to the permitted speed, the visible and audible alarms will stop.
6 If the vehicle does not reduce speed, a high-resolution camera will be activated and take a picture at a preset distance.
7 The photo evidence will be encrypted and sent to a processing centre for further evaluation.
