Speed zone enforcement - Installation view

The SWSS operates from the side of the road tracking traffic for speed and distance.

Tracking starts at 150 meters and vehicles exceeding the speed limit trigger the systems audible and/or visible alarm at the first set report line (A).

If the warning is ignored and the vehicle is still exceeding the speed limit at the second set report line (B), a photograph of the violation is taken and stored with the time, date, speed and location information embedded in the picture.

A warning or citation can then be mailed to the registered vehicle owner. The example above shows two report lines, but the system is capable of using up to eight different report lines.
